Stewart’s: Radical Road

Stewart Brewing was founded in Edinburgh as a local, independent micro-brewery 2004 by Steve and Jo Stewart and was based on two very simple principles, to produce the highest quality ale and beers possible and to provide an exceptional service to its customers. Radical Road is a triple hopped pale ale that is bursting with three different types of hops. It is actually highest hopped beer in the Stewart Brewing range!

It pours a hazy golden amber with a quick bubbly head with  aromas of toasted yeast end bread with some malty hints. The palate is of sweet tropical fruits alongside gentle floral notes and with a refreshing a dry citrus aftertaste.  I had the opportunity to try this beer for the first time at the Stewart’s Brewery while on a tour way way back in April 2014 and decided to keep my review until now in order to break up the steady stream of beers from the same brewery as so far Stewarts has dominated my 32 New Beers on my list of 32 Things. More from this brewery coming soon!
