Visit: Stormont

Parliament Buildings more commonly known as Stormont because of its location in the Stormont Estate area of Belfast, is the seat of the Northern Ireland Assembly. The original plan I think was to visit Edinburgh Castle but having moved home I tried to change it to something as close as I could.  I took a trip up with Keith a few weeks ago to have a look at the building but sadly it was too late in the evening to actually get inside to explore.  We never knew that the grounds actually closed so we decided that the best course of action was to sneak past the guards at the gate, and by sneak I mean we walked right past them with authority and determination managing to get up to the building and snap this sneaky wee photo! It would have been really nice to get exploring the grounds and in the building itself but I suppose that would be best left until the summertime!
