Kansas – Carry On Wayward Son

“Carry on my wayward son. There’ll be peace when you are done. Lay your weary head to rest. Don’t you cry no more.”  This song is amazing from the very beginning and only gets more epic as it continues.  The lyrics holding so many different meanings for so many different people who listen to them, the only thing everyone can agree on is how truly profound they are. “Masquerading as a man with a reason. My charade is the event of the season. And if I claim to be a wise man, well it surely means that I don’t know “.  Then comes the tune, the heroic drum beats the awe inspiring guitar solos this song just screams out epicness!  It’s a general spiritual song about life, rather than any religious connotations and of course its hard now not to think of ‘The Road So Far’ recap song in “Supernatural” but that shows full of so much epic music so if anything if feels right to be places there!  Its just a rocking epic tune, a drive tune, a chill out and listen to the music tune, it fits everywhere!  It is one of those rare songs that makes me feel happy to listen to it!
